What's your why?
Have you ever asked yourself why you’re trying a new diet, or why you’re incorporating a lifestyle change? Or shoot, why you’re doing anything for that matter.
I did that today and recommend that you do, too.
I asked myself why I want to do a diet program for a bikini competition. Here’s what I came up with:
I want to compete with my previous show body and try a new league (NPC)
I want to create a new flexible dieting plan geared towards a busy and food loving lifestyle
I want a challenge that keeps me focused on a goal
I want to have a hot bod
I want to do something that makes me happy
Those were to name a few. But, basically I enjoy competing it keeps me motivated. If you challenge yourself to be better in one part of your life, the other parts of your life will follow.
Focusing on bikini competing will not only help me to make better decisions with food and exercise, but overall health and wellness. Not only that, it pushes me in my career too. The mindset is contagious.
I challenge you to think of why your doing something in your life. If you can’t think of any why for something maybe you should drop-it-like-its-hot that and try something different. Also, if you are hating life trying a new diet, why are you doing it? Shouldn’t your life be on your terms? By thinking beyond average, you can know and understand your why. My goal is to help you achieve your goals while finding your why, and remaining happy along the way.
